Super Eagle Paul Obiefule Lands in Kuopio

Paul Obiefule will reinforce KuPS’s Europa League campaign in 2012. Some may even say that his arrival to Finland after so many good years in other leagues is unexpected, but nevertheless his landing in Kuopio will be welcomed heartily by the KuPS fans. In Paul the team will get a classy midfield motor who will make the whole team perform better. By bringing Paul to Kuopio, TopSpot and KuPS introduce one of the biggest signings of the year in these parts of the football world.

“Obi” has had a successful career path so far as he has been a key player of every squad he has played in during the last five years. Undoubtedly it will be so also in Finland in his new team Kuopion Palloseura. Before joining the team in Finland he has played in top leagues of Norway and Denmark for Lilleström, Hönefoss, Lyn and Viborg. Paul has earned ten caps for Nigeria. Last one was in 2007, a friendly against Kenya.

Welcome to Kuopio! Finnish Veikkausliiga is almost good as Norwegian Tippensliga. At least KuPS should be at least about same level than the lowest Tippensliga teams in Norway in many ways. I hope Obiefule will a make good effort for the team and he’ll manage to bring some succecs to himself and to the team also. With Obi, Kups will have a strong midfield for finnish league and hpefully it will be enough on the Eurofields also. Good luck. BANZAI !

Great signing of a wonderful player by an ambitious club! Kudos Paul! Kudos Topspot! Is he the replacement for Raphael Udah in Kups?
