PS Kemi Kings, a club from northern Finland, signed two players from TopSpot’s Nigerian football academy. PS Kemi plays in the Finnish First Division called “Ykkönen”. Ps Kemi’s sport director Jukka Kuusisto was with TopSpot in Nigeria on a scouting trip and the two players that caught Mr. Kuusisto’s eye are Patrick Chibuzor Onyeaghala (10.11.1989 ; 177cm) and Faith Friday Obilor (5.3.1991 ; 185cm). Patrick is fast and strong attacking midfielder who is able to move the ball forward with accurate passes and good upward runs. Faith Friday is a well-built central defender who also has a bright future ahead of him.

Both players will arrive to Finland during March after the work permit process is done. They are both very promising players to be added to a constantly growing group of young Nigerian players who have reached one goal of their career with the help of TopSpot.

This spring we will see more players like them signing for European and Asian clubs.

Next TopSpot academy tournament will be organized in March together with Yomi Kuku’s Seach and Groom and Jean Claude Mbvouvin’s Culture Foot Solidaire. We hope to see more than 700 players all around Nigeria to take part.

  1. Dickson Nwakaeme’s Denmark visit didn’t go as planned as he had a ruptured tigh muscle, which was preventing him to give 100% there. Now he is in our training camp in Turkey and training with a team that we have good contacts with. There are several clubs interested in him, but it remains to be seen where he will be playing. Whether its Sweden, Russia or some other country, we will tell it to you as soon as we know it.
